from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Katzbach was the outflow of the Königsberg castle pond .

As a mill river, it flowed over the Mühlenberg to the Pregel . In order to be able to operate three mills there and breed fish, the Teutonic Order had dammed the Katzbach with a dam. It was channeled in 1903.
