The Kehler Zeitung is a local newspaper for Kehl and the Hanauerland on the right bank of the Rhine . It is published in Offenburg by Reiff Verlag KG as a local edition of the Mittelbadische Presse .

history

On 8 December 1863 the first edition of was Kehler Grenzboten in Morstadt publishing printed, which was founded in the same year from August Morstadt. It initially appeared three times a week, later it became the Kehler Wochenblatt . On October 1, 1898, the Kehler Zeitung became a daily newspaper. After the Second World War, the Kehler Zeitung did not appear again until 1949. The heirs of the late Kehler publisher Hermine Morstadt transferred the publishing rights to Reiff Medien Verlag in Offenburg in 1978.
