Kelagastos

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kelagastos was a leading exponent of the Anten around 561.

Kelagastos was mentioned only once as the son of Idarizios and brother of Mezameros. Mezameros was sent by the Anten to the Avars to release prisoners. Kelagastos could have been a leader of the Anten at that time. Mezamerus was designated as the envoy of the Antes . It is possible that Kelagastos was leader of the Anten at the time, succeeding his father Idarizios. Further information about his person has not been passed down.
