Kenneth Clatterbaugh

Kenneth C. Clatterbaugh (* 20th century) is an American philosopher and emeritus professor at the University of Washington in Seattle .

Kenneth Clatterbaug received his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1967 and has taught philosophy at the University of Washington ever since . From 1996 to 2011 he headed the philosophy faculty. The focus of his teaching was initially ancient philosophy, philosophy of science and logic , later modern philosophy, social philosophy and gender research ; in recent years he has taught the philosophy of religion . Kenneth Clatterbaug retired in 2012 and has held the Joff Hanauer Honorary Professorship ( Joff Hanauer Honors Professor in Western Civilization ) ever since.
