The Kern AG is a Swiss company with headquarters in Konolfingen (BE) . The family company, which employs around 750 people in 50 countries, produces machines for document processing and output management , i.e. the automated compilation, packaging and dispatch of letters and documents.
The company has been family-owned since it was founded in 1947 by Marc Kern and is now managed by the second generation of the owner Uli Kern. Customers include print service providers, lettershops, banks, authorities, postal services, telephone companies, energy providers, data centers, insurance companies and other companies in the medium to very high shipping volume.
