Kevin Lindemann

Kevin Lindemann is a German disabled athlete.

Kevin Lindemann, who is deaf from birth, has dedicated himself to the sport of bowling from his youth . He played for the Berlin Deaf Sports Club and was soon one of the top performers in his club. His first major success was in 2004 in Berlin at the German Deaf Bowling Championships, winning the German Youth Championships in singles.

He became a member of the German Deaf National Team. With the team he won a silver medal in team bowling and a further silver medal in doubles at the Deaflympics 2013 in Sofia and was awarded the silver laurel leaf by Federal President Gauck on October 25, 2013 .

Kevin Lindemann also took part in the Deaflympics 2017 in Samsun (Turkey), where he was again successful with the German bowling team. This time his team took first place and won the gold medal. For this he was honored this time by Federal President Steinmeier, on October 13, 2017 for the second time by awarding the Silver Laurel Leaf.

He was also named Berlin Disabled Sportsman of the Year in both 2012 and 2013.
