Khrain Kaik Pitakataik

Khrain Kaik Pitakataik is a Buddhist library in Mrauk U , Myanmar . It was built in 1591 by King Min Phalaung to store writings that he had received from Sri Lanka.

description

The floor plan of the library is a square with a side length of about three meters, with a small entrance hall attached to the east. The building widens upwards in an arch and is decorated with well-preserved filigree stone carvings.
