Kid Loco

Kid Loco (real name Jean-Yves Prieur , born June 19, 1964 ) is a French musician and producer whose style is often classified between electronica and trip-hop .

Career

Kid Loco worked particularly with the French alternative rock scene in the 1980s before releasing Blues Project in 1996 , which is mainly based on the style of DJ Shadow . In 1998 he released A Grand Love Story, a composition that set itself apart from other trip-hop albums mainly because of its erotic touch and has become a reference album to this day. He later produced many remixes before releasing the album Kill Your Darlings in 2001 , which, however, could not build on the success of A Grand Love Story .
