DJ kicks
DJ-Kicks is a music series from the music label Studio K7 . Selected artists from the field of electronic music put together tracks at will and mix them again. The sole objective of! K7 Records is that the sets are not only suitable for the dance floor, but also audible at home.
In addition to this freedom, which has resulted in the DJ-Kicks series encompassing a broad spectrum of music, the selection of artists has also led to a high level of awareness, and even to a pioneering role for many other labels. The DJ-Kicks series - and with it the! K7 label - has established a permanent place in the electronic music scene. A very similar compilation series in the electronic music scene is Fabric Live .
Publications
Many albums contain a previously unreleased track on which the compiler also acts as an artist. As far as known, these are listed in the column DJ-Kicks-Exclusive-Track . These tracks are also featured on the albums DJ-Kicks - The Exclusives . Depending on the medium, the specified catalog number is supplemented with CD , LP , MC , or DTM , although not every album is available as a cassette or as a download.
