Marcel Dettmann

Marcel Dettmann (born October 26, 1977 in Pößneck ) is a German techno musician, DJ and owner of the music labels Marcel Dettmann Records (MDR) and Bad Manners.

Life

Dettmann grew up in Fürstenwalde (Spree). In his home region around Frankfurt (Oder) he played in various clubs in the mid / late nineties. In 1999 he became a resident DJ in the Berlin club Ostgut (now Berghain ) and began working in the Hard Wax record store . After the Ostgut was transferred to Club Berghain, he stayed there as a resident DJ. Dettmann is now touring and playing parties around the world.

Dettmann has released two albums and a large number of singles on Ostgut Ton , 50Weapons and his own label MDR as well as numerous remixes.
