Ben Westbeech (* 1980 in Bristol ), better known as Breach , is an English DJ from Hertfordshire . He also uses the name Lean for publications in the area of drum and bass .
biography
Ben Westbeech has a classical education as a cellist, pianist and singer. For two years he studied music and drama. Since he was twelve years old, he also tried his hand at DJing and made music in the fields of house and drum and bass . In 2006 he was noticed by the DJ Gilles Peterson at a festival and he brought him to his newly founded label. There Westbeech released his first album Welcome to the Best Years of Your Life a year later .
Over the years he has published and produced music regularly. From 2010 he also used the name Breach . It was under this name that he had his big breakthrough in the summer of 2013. With the single Jack he had a top ten hit in the official UK charts . At the end of the same year he was able to repeat the success with the singer Andreya Triana and the single Everything You Never Had (We Had It All) .
