Child and Youth Welfare Development Act

The Child and Youth Welfare Development Act ( KICK , Law for the Further Development of Child and Youth Welfare) of September 8, 2005 is a German federal law (article law) in the field of child and youth welfare .

It came into force on October 1, 2005 and led to changes in Book VIII of the Social Code , which, among other things, relate to full-time care and substantiate the existing protection mandate in the event of child welfare endangerment. It is also intended to support the Act to Expand Day Care .
