Children's rights Africa

Kinderrechte Afrika e.V. is a children's rights organization that is committed to the implementation and protection of the basic rights of children and young people on the African continent. The non-profit registered association based in Lahr / Black Forest was founded in 1995. There are 5 salaried employees and 3 volunteers.

Its work is based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the African Charter for the Rights and Welfare of the Child . The aim of the association is to contribute to a social environment that protects children's rights in Africa.

The association sees its main work in advocacy and work with children in need, whose rights have been disregarded. There are 22 voting members. The orientation is Christian.
