King clone

King Clone is believed to be the oldest creosote ring in the Mojave Desert . It is 22 meters (67 feet) in diameter and is estimated to be 11,700 years old.

The ring is located on public land approximately 0.6 miles north of California Route 247 east of Bessemer Mine Road near the towns of Lucerne Valley and Landers . The area where the plant is located is fenced.
