Våmb Church

The Church of VAmB located on the outskirts of Skövde ( Sweden ).

In the middle of the 12th century a Romanesque church with a nave, choir and apse was built in Våmb . The church was given a tower at the end of the 12th century. In the church there are still original objects, such as B. a font from the 13th century and several medieval sculptures.

At the end of the 19th century , the church was restored according to the ideas of the time. In 1944/45 an attempt was made in a renewed restoration to undo the interventions made in the interior of the church in the previous one.
