Church freedom
Church freedom stands for:
- Libertas ecclesiae , the freedom and independence of the Catholic Church which, according to its self-image, is one and established by Jesus Christ.
- The church's right to self-determination , d. H. the right of churches and religious communities to regulate their own affairs.
- Peace in the church , freedom from persecution in churches or church yards and the right of the churches to grant this protection.
