Hunsdorf church ruins
The Hunsdorf church ruins are located between the villages of Steigerthal and Buchholz in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia .
It was the church of the fallen village of Hunsdorf , also called Hohnsdorf or Hunoldsdorf . There are only remains of ruins , a wall and a moat. You can still see the foundation walls of the former church.
history
After the village of Hunsdorf, described as intact in a border description in 1372 , was destroyed in the Flegler War in 1412 , the residents moved to Steigerthal and Buchholz. The desert has been a ground monument since 1952.
