Kirchtagskrapfen (or festive donuts ) are a Tyrolean dessert. They are square, mostly oblong, and consist of two thin layers of dough. In the middle there is a filling, usually made of poppy seeds or apricot jam , occasionally chestnut or lingonberry jam etc. a. used. Depending on the taste, they are sprinkled with powdered sugar.
