Kite (unit)

Kite was an Egyptian unit of mass (measure of weight) that was divided into decimal places. The measure is taken from the 11th to 9th centuries BC. u. Z. assigned.

  • 1 kite = 1/10 Deben = 1/100 Sep ≈ 4.5 to 29.9 grams (= 9.1 grams)
    • 1 deben = 1/10 sep = 10 qedet = 94 grams
    • 1 Sep = 10 Deben = 100 Qedet = 940 grams
