Flap door

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A hinged door is a hinged door leaf that is usually attached to a horizontal axis and which allows access to something by falling or lifting (triggered by its own weight ).

Unlike the normal and most common type of door , the swing door , the door leaf of the hinged door is hinged at the top (or bottom). It opens outwards or inwards. Folding doors are special mechanisms that, depending on the design, can be used for very different purposes.
