Class kasper (also class clown ) is the slang term for a schoolchild who regularly " plays the punch " in front of his school class with jokes , funny comments, slapstick or pranks .

The term can be meant positively or negatively, depending on whether the behavior is perceived as amusing and promoting community or as disturbing and pathological.

Class bullies can have various reasons for their behavior, from harmless cheerful natures who want to loosen up a serious situation, to highly gifted people who are bored in class and look for more interesting things to do, to lonely or insecure children who seek attention and hope for better to be accepted into the class community.
