Klaus Schilling

Klaus Schilling (* 1956 in Bayreuth ) is Professor of Robotics and Telematics at the Chair of Computer Science VII at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.

Schilling's research interests focus on the interdisciplinary combination of innovative methods of information processing with control engineering to solve demanding technical problems, which are primarily located in the field of robotics, automation technology and space travel (see UWE-1 ).

In 2014 Schilling received the IFAC Outstanding Service Award from the International Federation on Automatic Control (IFAC).
