Kleingschnaidt is a cadastral municipality of the market town of Gaflenz in the Steyr-Land district in Upper Austria.

The cadastral municipality forms the northern municipal area of ​​Gaflenz. It consists of the districts of Kleingschnaidt and Großgschnaidt and has an area of ​​almost 1500  hectares .

According to the census of May 1, 2001, there were 96 people in Kleingschnaidt and 110 people in Großgschnaidt.

One of the sights of the community is the "Zöttl Chapel" located in the Großgschnaidt district. This is attached to a residential building and is a listed building ( list entry ).

Until 1981 there was an elementary school in Lohnsitz (Kleingschnaidt 16), but it was closed due to insufficient student numbers. The land and the building were subsequently sold to a joinery.
