from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kleinmann Low Nebula was discovered by Douglas Kleinmann and Frank Low in 1967. It is the most active part of the Orion Nebula . It is about 1 'northwest of the trapezoid and about 12 "south of the Becklin-Neugebauer object. The Kleinmann Low Nebula appears to consist of several young and just forming stars, embedded in a dusty molecular cloud.
