reception

The album received mixed reviews. Fabrizio Perri from MZEE.com magazine writes that SAM shows “how rap works in pop form” . Despite the “lyrical lack of imagination” , every song has “hit potential” thanks to the instrumentation . Samson Wieland can "rap properly" , but he shows this "far too rarely" . The album contains too many "topics that don't offend anywhere" .

The reviewer from rap-n-blues.com has a similar opinion : The album contains "an above-average number of tracks that deal with love topics" . The title suggests “the subject area of the small / big town” , but “most of the tracks are actually about relationship issues” . It is too "omnipresent" for the reviewer .
