The Canfield Mesa is a 1.3km Table Mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 1.5 km east-northeast of Green Mesa in the western part of the Island Range .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1997 after the US geoscientist Donald Eugene Canfield (* 1957), who carried out geochemical analyzes of the Onyx River and Lake Vanda in three campaigns between 1980 and 1988 .
