Smallest house in Paris
House No. 39, rue du Château-d'Eau, located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, is known as the smallest house in Paris . It is behind the Mairie of the 10th arrondissement .
The nearest metro stations are Château d'Eau and Jacques Bonsergent on lines 4 and 5 .
history
The 1.10 meter wide and 5 meter high house, wedged between higher buildings, has a shop on the ground floor and a room on the first floor, which was previously used as living space. It is rumored that as a result of a dispute between the heirs, the small house was built on the passage at this point.
