Königsberg, Löbenichtsche Hospitalkirche, altarpiece with Christ, Maria and Johannes. On the wing lo Ecce-Homo, ro flagellation of Christ, lu crowning of thorns, ru Descent from the Cross (late Gothic).

The monastery was founded by the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order Heinrich Dusemer in 1340 or 1349; the church was consecrated in 1350. The monastery was occupied first by Cistercian nuns, then by Benedictine nuns . It was converted into a hospital by Duke Albrecht in 1531 . In 1764 the building burned down in the town fire and was rebuilt in 1771 with the help of Friedrich II . The portal has been preserved in the Frederician Rococo style . The portal consists of two pillars closed by volutes. The archway is a very flat segment arch, crowned by a cartouche with rococo shapes. There used to be a large stone ball on the cartouche with a Prussian eagle on it. The portal is valuable because it “represents the only remaining remnant of the wealth of rococo forms that Königsberg possessed on the facades and in the interiors.” The inscription above the entrance portal reads: “refugium hoc paupertatis et indigentiae monumentum pietatis Alberti March. Brandenb. Flammis ao MDCCLXIV penitus dirutum e cineribus clementia et Friderici liberalitate Magni in integrum restitutum est. "The fact that this door was salvaged from the demolition mass and used elsewhere again praised already in 1924 Karl G. in his work Old King Mountain .

In 1903 the buildings were demolished. Part of the furnishings ended up in the collections in Königsberg Castle and was destroyed there in 1944/1945, including the altar of the Löbenichtschen Hospital Church. The late Gothic altar shrine was created at the end of the 15th century. The triptych showed the carved figures of Christ, Mary and John. These were separated from each other by slender Gothic columns with pointed arches on their capitals. In front of the figures on the ground was a late Gothic tendril with birds. Under the shrine was a decorated reliquary container with the order's cross as a coat of arms. On the left wing Ecce-homo was painted above and the crown of thorns below . On the right wing the flagellation of Christ was painted above and the Descent from the Cross below . With the wings closed, Saints Barbara, Dorothea, Katharina and Margharetha could be seen. A carved figure of Samson from around 1530 has been preserved in the Lidzbark Warmiński Museum .
