Monastery of St. Samuel the Confessor
The monastery of St. Samuel the Confessor , Deir el-Anba Samu'il, Arabic: دير الأنبا صموئيل المعترف is a Coptic monastery in the governorate of Bani Suwaif in Egypt . It goes back to Samuel the Confessor who founded it.
In the attack on a pilgrim bus to this monastery on May 26, 2017, 28 people were killed in the governorate of al-Minya .
