Knappschaftskrankenhaus Recklinghausen

The Knappschaftskrankenhaus Recklinghausen is a clinic in the western quarter of Recklinghausen , on the north-western boundary of the settlement. The carrier is the Klinikum Vest GmbH , which also operates the Paracelsus Clinic Marl . It is an academic teaching hospital or university clinic of the Ruhr University Bochum .

The hospital has 12 departments and 462 beds. 18,000 inpatients and 50,000 outpatients are cared for annually. Today's high-rise, built in 1984 on the site of the former Viktoria-Kampfbahn , replaced the "KKH II" on Westerholter Weg from 1906.
