Snapping (dice game)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Snapping is a dice game with a single dice . In contrast to other games, the dice is not rolled but rather snapped.

Style of play

When snapping, the cube is placed on the table and the player snaps his index finger against the top of the cube to make it jump up. The throw only counts, if the die lands on the table again, if it falls on the floor it is invalid. The winner is the player who reaches a predetermined number first, usually up to 50.

As a variant, harassment can be built into the rating, such as the deduction of 10 points if the player reaches a round number (10, 20, 30, 40). In another variant, the target number must be reached exactly, points that exceed this will be deducted. As a variant, it can also be agreed to only count fives and sixes.
