history

Walter Knoll

Knoll Maschinenbau was founded in 1970 by Walter Knoll . The first product was so-called hydrocyclone filter systems.

As a result, other products such as slat belt conveyors, hydrostatic filters or vacuum rotary filters were developed and marketed and the production capacities required for this were expanded at the site.

At the company's 25th anniversary in 1995, the company had 270 employees.

In 2006 Walter Knoll founded the Bad Saulgau Community Foundation , which, as a non-profit organization, supports projects in the fields of youth, education, culture, science, social affairs, sport, health, nature and the environment. Today the foundation has a foundation capital of over 1 million euros and has received the seal of approval from the Federal Association of German Foundations several times.

Company founder Walter Knoll died in 2012.

In 2013, the company won its largest single order in China, worth four million euros.
