The cobra sword or pahari is an Indian weapon .

description

The cobra sword has a straight, double-edged blade. The blade starts wide at the handle and then tapers to the place . The blade usually has two wide hollow grinds that run almost the entire length of the blade. The place is reinforced and constructed to be armor-piercing. The handle is made of metal and has no guard. The widened blade part and the hilt are decorated with floral patterns in Indian Koftgari style. The blade widening resembles a cobra head with the decorations. Hence the name cobra sword. The cobra sword is used by warrior castes in India.
