Koirasaari ( Swedish : Hundören ) is an archipelago belonging to Finland in the Baltic Sea south of Helsinki .

The archipelago belongs to the Aluemeri sub-area of the Ulkosaaret district of the Finnish capital Helsinki and is a public area. The sea route runs east of Koirasaari to the port of Helsinki in the Gulf of Finland, about eight kilometers to the north .

The uninhabited island covers 3.24 hectares , extends from north to south for about 300 meters with a width of up to 170 meters and rises only slightly above the water surface. In the middle of the rocky island there is a grove of trees. A total of 136 plant species were found on the island. A sea ​​mark has been set up at the northeastern point of Koirasaari .
