Kolyttos ( Greek  Κόλυττος ) is a figure in Greek mythology .

He was the namesake of a district in ancient Athens , for which different ways of accentuation and spelling have been handed down (Κολυττός, Κολλυτός).

When Heracles stopped by Kolyttos, he was hospitably received and fell in love with his son Diomos , after whom the neighboring Athens district of Diomeia was later named.
