Konakli ( Turkish Konaklı ) is a Turkish city in the province of Antalya about 12 km west of the district town of Alanya .

Due to its direct location on the Mediterranean Sea and its year-round mild climate, Konakli has developed into a popular holiday resort on the Turkish Riviera in recent years . The intensive expansion of the tourist infrastructure promoted a sharp increase in the number of inhabitants and accelerated the rise of the originally small village to a town. In 2000 Konakli already had more than 28,000 inhabitants. A not inconsiderable part of the population is made up of Russians, Scandinavians and Germans who have moved there and have acquired real estate there.

In addition to tourism, vegetable growing traditionally determines the economic life of the place.

The city with the regional centers of Antalya and Alanya is conveniently connected via the D400 expressway.

Konakli has had a town partnership with the German town of Helmstedt since 2008 .
