Turkish riviera
Turkish Riviera (also known as the Turquoise Coast ) is a popular name for the Turkish south coast . The Turkish Riviera includes in particular the provinces of Muğla and Antalya . Important cities in this region are Antalya , Alanya in the east and the cities of Kemer and Kaş to the west .
The Turkish Riviera, along with the southern Aegean coast, is one of the country's tourist centers. It is characterized by a warm and mild climate, even in winter. The locals like to flee to the nearby Taurus Mountains , especially from the summer heat .
The combination of a favorable climate, warm sea, more than a thousand kilometers of coastline, and numerous natural and archaeological sights make the Turkish Riviera a popular destination for tourists.
