Conformity assessment body

A conformity assessment body ( english conformity assessment body , French organisme d'évaluation de la conformité ) checks and monitors the use of explosives in the Member States of the European Union .

conditions

The requirements are listed in the directives 2013/29 / EU and 2014/28 / EU and apply to explosives and explosive substances. These include:

  • the endowment with legal personality
  • independence
  • Exclusion from working for a supplier of such substances
  • Confidentiality , Objectivity and Impartiality
  • Professionalism of the valuation activity
  • sufficient specialist knowledge and financial resources
  • comprehensive documentation of the procedures
  • Presence of liability insurance
  • Independence of remuneration from the number or result of the audits
  • Confidentiality about information obtained
  • Participation in a coordination group

implementation

In Germany , the guidelines are implemented in Section 5e of the Explosives Act.
