from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Congregation of the Noble Servants of Mary was established by Henriette Adelaide , Electress of Bavaria, on March 10, 1663, initially with 30 members. The noble servants of Mary are a prayer community with around 130 members today. She tries to follow Our Lady. The community sees prayer for priests and the church as its main task. She also supports people in need. The prioress of the congregation is today Princess Theresa of Bavaria, Archduchess of Austria.

The seat of the congregation is the Theatinerkirche in Munich, which was just being planned at the time of the foundation of the congregation of the noble servants of Mary. The construction of the church also goes back to Henriette Adelaide's initiative. The foundation stone was laid on April 29, 1663, a few weeks after the congregation was founded.

The noble servants of Mary meet monthly for prayer, Holy Mass and various lectures.
