Koninklijke Akademie van Beeldende Kunsten (Amsterdam)

The Koninklijke Akademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam (Royal Academy of Fine Arts) was the highest artistic education in the Kingdom of the Netherlands from 1820 to 1870 . From 1820 to 1830 she shared this role with the Academy in Antwerp . In 1870 the Academy of Amsterdam was closed and replaced by the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten (Imperial Academy of Fine Arts).
