Karl Dodo Adolf Braunbehrens , von Braunbehrens since 1835 (born April 23, 1819 in Giersleben , † April 29, 1870 in Dessau ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

origin

Adolf he was the eldest son of the secret finance councilor Anton von Braunbehrens (1792-1859) and his wife Charlotte, née Walter (1792-1867). His father was raised to the hereditary nobility of Anhalt-Koeth on August 3, 1835 .

Career

After graduating from high school Martineum Halberstadt , Braunbehrens studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the Universität Leipzig . He was a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn and Misnia .

Braunbehrens was from 1863 to 1868 Duke of Anhalt-Dessau's vice-president of the government and from September to November 1868 regional president . From 1863 to 1870 he was a member of the Special Parliament of the Duchy of Köthen and of the entire State Parliament of the Duchy of Anhalt . He was elected to the Knighthood Curia. He died shortly after his 51st birthday.

He married Ottilie von Axleben called Magnus (1826-1906) on January 3, 1850 in Köthen. The daughters Marie (1853–1874) and Anna (1857–1920) emerged from the marriage.
