Construction (grammar)

In linguistics, a grammatical construction is a linguistic combination that is based on the principles of morphology and the syntax of the respective language and can be composed of morphemes , words , phrases or sentences and thereby expresses a certain function.

Special attention is paid to constructions in construction grammar .
