Convection heating

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A convection heater is a heater shape results, the heat by convection transmits to the room air.

The air is heated by the convector and rises due to the free convection . This upward movement allows cool room air to flow in from below, creating air circulation in the room.

The radiator design must be differentiated from gravity heating, in which free convection in the heating system is used to cause the heat transfer medium (e.g. hot water) to circulate without a pump.
