KooL 103.7 FM is a radio station from Victoria , British Columbia , Canada . The station mainly broadcasts Adult Contemporary and belongs to the Bell Media Group.
The station received its broadcasting license in October 1999. The official start of broadcasting was in 2000 under the callsign CFEX and was operated by Seacoast Communication. Alternative rock was initially broadcast. In 2002 the broadcast format was changed to Adult Hits .
In 2004 the channels CHBE and CFAX were acquired by CHUM Ltd. accepted. On December 26, 2006, the broadcast format was changed to hot AC.
