Man with Kosovorotka

Kossoworotka ( Russian Косоворо́тка ; literally: sloping collar) is a shirt with a neckline that is not in the middle, as with ordinary shirts, but offset to the side.

The Kosovorotka was an element of traditional Russian men's clothing. It was worn as a shirt, but also as an undershirt.

The Kosovorotka was worn over trousers , often with a kind of fabric belt with a fringe. The knot of this belt was worn on the left side.
