Kostandis Trikoupis
Kostandis Trikoupis ( Greek Κωνσταντής Τρικούπης ; date of birth unknown, in Messolongi ; † 1825, Klisova Lagoon southwest of Messolongi) was a participant in the Greek War of Independence from 1821 to 1829.
He came from the Trikoupis family from Messolongi in Aetolia-Acarnania , which provided many politicians and the military. The nephew Charilaos Trikoupis was seven-time Greek prime minister, the brother Spyridon Trikoupis one-time Greek prime minister in 1833. Kostandis Trikoupis died during the second siege of Messolongi in 1825 in a sea battle in the Klisova lagoon. His brother Manthios Trikoupis died in 1821 during the war.
