Cost ceiling

The cost ceiling applies a price fixed ceiling established such. B. on the basis of an offer from an entrepreneur. The exact conditions can be specified in a work contract .

"The cost ceiling price is the maximum price that the (customer) has to pay for the service agreed in the contract for work." If it has been contractually agreed between the parties, z.   1. If the actual expenditure is above the contractual cost ceiling , the amount of the cost ceiling will be charged as the billing amount. The amount that is above the cost ceiling must be borne by the entrepreneur at his own expense.
  2. If the costs are below the cost ceiling , unless otherwise contractually agreed, the difference between the effective effort and the cost ceiling amount will be borne by the contractor and the client at 50% each.
