Medical aid

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Children and young people who are housed outside the family in Germany as part of child and youth welfare services according to Sections 33–35 or Section 35a, Paragraphs 2, Numbers 3 and 4 of Book VIII of the Social Code , receive sickness assistance according to Section 40 of Book VIII of the Social Code from the responsible youth welfare office to cover the cost of medical treatment.

Since child and youth welfare services are subordinate to other services, health care usually covers the costs that are not covered by family insurance , such as additional payments when using various services and co-payments for dentures. However, sickness assistance takes precedence over mandatory safety insurance .

For the scope of benefits, the sickness assistance refers to the regulations of the assistance to health , which in turn refers to the catalog of benefits of the statutory health insurance companies.
