Health aids

The assistance for health are a benefit to the SGB XII . It is intended to enable people in need who are not insured to have access to health care services.

Eligible

The group of beneficiaries for health assistance is very limited, since since 2004 there has been an option under Section 264 of Book V of the Social Code (SGB V) to register beneficiaries under Book XII of the Social Code who are not insured with a health insurance company, so that these health services are like regular members of the statutory health insurance receive. Only if this possibility does not exist and voluntary health insurance according to § 32 SGB ​​XII is excluded, health assistance can be considered. This is the case, for example, when subsistence benefits are to be drawn for a period shorter than one month.

Services

The services in the context of health aids include:
