Krawinkel und Eckstein ( original: Keepvogel ) is a children's book and a Dutch computer animation series by Wouter van Reek.

content

Krawinkel is a flightless crow, with a red cape with hood dressed. His best friend and housemate is the dog Lupus Wolfram von Eckstein ( Dutch: Lupus Wolfram Tungsten ). They live together in a lonely house on an empty plain.

Krawinkel's occupations are inventing, picking berries, gluing, baking pancakes and lighting the stove. He is enterprising and has a tendency not to finish what he is doing. He stacks furniture on top of each other on the roof until he can climb up and scratch the clouds. Eckstein is the rather desperate, cautious counterpart who brings Krawinkel back onto the carpet. Most of the episodes end with the sample “Say, I’m sure!”, Which Eckstein usually utters.

Production and publication

The book Krawinkel & Eckstein The Rescue Operation by Wouter van Reek was published in 2005 by Uitgeverij Leopold BV in the Netherlands. In 2006 it was published in German by the Patmos publishing house .

The series consists of a mixture of cartoon and computer animation . A trademark is that the outlines of animate beings are constantly in motion, which sets them apart very well from inanimate objects. The consequences were initially five minutes, later ten minutes. The German version is dubbed by the duo Badesalz . Some episodes have been shown on the show with the mouse to this day.
